    Save yourself a headache and DO NOT rent from these people. After submitting an application early November and calling about my application status multiple times, I was informed over the phone that my roommate and I were accepted for a property and just had to wait for the current tenant to move out. Come December, I find out that they rented the property already. Once at their office, I was told I needed a parent co-sign, but apparently they didn't bother emailing or calling me. Not to mention when I was questioning the receptionist as to what happened, some irate lady yelled from her office asking who I was and walked over to basically say I should have known I needed a parent co-sign. She admitted to not even trying to contact me. These people are absolutely unprofessional and clueless to even their own properties. I highly recommend Providence Real Estate or J.E. Barnes Rentals. Both in Ruston.

    I strive to support Black owned businesses, but this one has been a great disappointment; no recommendation from me. Another example of a company that doesn't know how to separate business from personal feelings; from the receptionist to the Office Manager, Kevin McKeever. During a time when I'm grieving the lost of my Mother, they have exhibited an unprofessional, insensitive, and rude attitude. Since August when my Mother passed, I have been cordial and professional with this funeral home up until today. This was even after the driver, that came to pick up my Mother's body from where she was located, mishandled my loved one's body. He hit her head on the bed rail and kept moving. The nurse had even offered to assist him and he refused. No apology or anything from HIM. He could've cared less. Initially, the staff appeared to be comforting and accommodating. However, that changed after my Mother's service and burial. The receptionist was very unprofessional by making slandering remarks about my character. She doesn't know or speak for me, and I don't know her and don't want to; so she was totally out of line. Direct reflection of the entire staff. Kevin had personally told me twice that he, himself, would notify me via phone once the death certificates arrived. He never did. I had to have my sister go by their place of business to retrieve the certificates and even then, all of the certificates were not in there (incomplete). I simply called today to asked about a death certificate ($7) that was included in the final invoice; plus on top of the fact I personally covered the cost of my Mother's service (verified with the insurance company). He was very rude and dismissive towards me. I'm trying to have an adult conversation, but it turned into him bringing up something that had nothing to do with a death certificate. I just ended the call because it was getting no where... just constantly trying to talk over me and saying I was at fault. Find a company that is professional at all times and doesn't mix in personal/family affairs with conducting business.

  • Great university, great proffessors and learning experience. You choose whether to be a name or a number on campus. I came from out of state and if I had to choose again, I'd choose the same.

    tried to work with them to rent a property and experienced lousy customer service repeatedly, from phone calls not being returned to scheduling a tour and then not giving it... did not feel like a valued customer at all
